DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN), which has been going international with its acquisitions over the past 18 months, is adding even more overseas territory — specifically in Europe — to its season pass for the upcoming ski season.
Epic Pass purchasers will get limited access to resorts in France, Austria, Italy and Switzerland, the Broomfield-based company announced Thursday. That comes in addition to the unlimited skiing pass holders have to Perisher, the Australian resort Vail bought in March 2015.
The added perks of the pass, which is selling for $809 through Labor Day, include:
-Les 3 Vallees, Paradiski and Tignes-Val d’Isere, the three largest resorts in France.
-Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta, a nine-resort complex in Italy south of the Alps.
