U.S. women's national team to host open practice

KUSA - The U.S. women's national soccer team will hold on open practice on April 5, the day before their match against China PR.

Both events will be at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. This will be the third time the U.S. squad has a match in Colorado.

The practice session is free to the public and will start at noon. Those in the U.S. Soccer Supporters Club can get on the field for the training session. The April 6 game is set for 3 p.m., and tickets are on sale now.

It will be the U.S. women's first game in Colorado since playing Australia at the stadium in September 2012. The U.S. team also played there in 2008 against Brazil.

This will be the 51st match between the Americans and China, with the U.S. squad holding a 30-8-12 advantage.

There is also another big international match coming to Denver this summer with Manchester United playing AS Roma on July 26 at Sports Authority Field.
