The Metro State Army ROTC invites runners and walkers to a family orientated event designed to warm folks up for the Denver Veteran's Day Parade and Festivities.
All race proceeds will go to the Metro State Army ROTC Running Club. (Non-Profit Org.) The running club uses funds to participate in races throughout Denver. Members also support community races through volunteering.
The club also supports the RUSSELL B. RIPPETOE FOUNDATION honoring CPT Rippetoe who served in the 75th Ranger Regiment and was killed in action in Iraq. Rippetoe was a graduate of Metro State Army ROTC, and his foundation awards annually a scholarship and saber to a deserving ROTC cadet.
