"I've watched them all through the season and watched them keep going up, up, up," said Ada, who lives at Good Samaritan Society's Loveland Village.

Ada certainly has her favorite player.

"I've always wanted Todd Helton to win. He's a nice person," she said with a smile, "I hope he gets his wish and wins."

Of course, the other players aren't too shabby in her eyes.

"Matt Holliday, oh, I like all of them and Garrett (Atkins) is good and Brad (Hawpe) is good," she said.

Those who work at Loveland Village attest to Ada's Rockies spirit.

"She's their No. 1 and oldest fan," said Cheryl Brinker, who is Loveland Village's Volunteer Coordinator, "If you go into the dining room, that's all she's talking about and she watches them faithfully."

Ada picked up her love of baseball from her late husband, to whom she was married for 66 years.

"My husband watched sports and wanted me to watch it," she remembered, "I said, 'I'll watch baseball' and I've watched baseball ever since."

Originally a Padres fan, Ada switched her allegiance when the Rockies took the field in 1993.
