On Sunday, November 6th, the inaugural Primalpalooza will take place at the North Area Athletic Complex in Golden (19500 West 64th Parkway, Golden).
The event benefits Trips for Kids and will feature a number of events including a Cyclocross race for serious and newbie racers, prizes for on-lookers and racers, an expo area, food concessions, kids play area (including free strider racing on a mini-race course)
For first-timers and beginners the entry fee is $15 and mountain bikes (no bar ends) can be used instead of a cyclocross bike
The course is primarily grass, dirt, with a wide open 350 meter straight hole shot at the start. There are no sharp turns until about 1 kilometer after the start, and there's plenty of room for passing.
Register at prerace.com until midnight on Friday November 4th.
On-site race day registration opens at 7:30 am and closes 20 minutes before each race. First race is $30 and additional races are $10. Junior races are FREE. ACA license is required, one day licenses available for $10.
Like the Primal Wear Race Team on Facebook and they will donate $1/person to Trips for Kids for the first 500 likes until November 6th.
