KUSA - Twelve years ago, Marcia Polas was given a package of Pilates sessions as a birthday gift. The advertising executive was hooked after her first class and noticed a link between the right kind of exercise and a release of stress. These days Polas has come full circle and returns her original gift by helping the "working stiff" relax and smile.

Marcia was the latest guest for Wargin's Workout and demonstrated with Susie some of the moves she does with her clients through her business called polaspilates. To watch the demo, visit the video player above this article.

Polaspilates visits offices throughout the day in Downtown Denver and the surrounding Metro area with a "reformer on the mat" style workout to groups of no more than 10 in conference rooms and open spaces. Her clients take Pilates two times a week for three months at a time. Together, they build strength, flexibility, and increased body awareness and balance.

Marcia also takes a number of private and duet clients each quarter in her small home studio. Many of her group class clients add one private apparatus session a week to their twice-weekly office practice.

She can be found at www.polaspilates.com where she blogs weekly about life, Pilates, and the things that connect the two. Follow her on twitter and Facebook @polaspilates or call her at 303-955-2132.
