KUSA - He's 92, knows every line in the book and still skis every day. Klaus Obermeyer knows how to live. He also knows what goes into making great skiwear.

Klaus returned to the 9NEWS studios for a second straight year during the SIA Snow Show and was once again a huge hit with the newsroom and viewers. To watch his hilarious interview, visit the video player above.

Born in Germany in 1919, Klaus found himself in Aspen in 1947 where he started Sport Obermeyer. Armed with ski instructor experience, he began by stitching parkas in his attic - the first one from his down comforter. Later came suntan lotions, turtlenecks, mirrored sunglasses and more.

These days, Sport Obermeyer is enjoying over 60 years of success in Aspen and continues to improve on products and productivity each season. The company's office complex receives 60 percent of its heat from solar energy and many Obermeyer fabrics and materials come from both renewable and recycled sources.

For the 2011-2012 season, Obermeyer unveiled new innovations like Cocona technology into outerwear. They also reintroduced its eco Kinesis fabric into numerous styles, all equipped with insulating and waterproof/breathable technologies. Obermeyer takes care of the kids as well with new technologies, eco-friendly fabrications and updated designs for the current season.
