DENVER – For the 10th year, Doors Open Denver will give people an opportunity to explore hundreds of cool places around the city.
This year's theme is Celebrating Neighborhood Architecture. The two-day event Saturday and Sunday is free and invites residents and visitors to tour and appreciate some great buildings they may see every day but have never been inside.
The tours and some of the locations will have limited hours and capacity because of their size or purpose. Each site also has a guided tour, which is also free.
Sites include feral, state and city buildings, schools, re-purposed buildings, churches, libraries and mansions in the following neighborhoods: Downtown, Capitol Hill, LoDo, Santa Fe, Park Hill, Five Points, Highlands, Hill Top, Uptown, Cherry Creek, The Mariposa District, Golden Triangle, South Broadway, RiNo and the Auraria Campus.
