KUSA - 9NEWS is partnering with local animal shelters to find homes for homeless pets. Perhaps you have room in your home and heart for Mr. Bigglesworth.

UPDATE - Mr. Bigglesworth from Cat Care Society was adopted on April 23 by a woman named Shirley. She saw him on 9NEWS and left us three messages before they opened. She also called back later to let them know she was on her way. "Many thanks to Channel 9 for finding Shirley and sending Mr. Bigglesworth to his new forever home with a great gift basket for cat goodies," Suellen Scott, Development Director of Cat Care Society, said.

Volunteer Kay of the Cat Care Society brought this beautiful 10 year old domestic mix, white medium hair cat by the 9NEWS Information Center. Mr. Bigglesworth spent his life with his own human until she recently passed away. A relative bought him to the Society.

Mr. Bigglesworth is micro chipped, neutered, litter trained, uses his scratching post and is current on vaccinations.

He is not wild about the other cats and has been keeping his distance from them. He does love human attention, being brushed, rolling around on his back and just being adorable. He has a squeaky voice and loves to talk.

Because he is 10 years old he qualifies for Cat Care Society's perpet-u-care program. If he come to their clinic he will receive $250 per year of veterinary services for the rest of his life. Want to know more? Please visit www.catcaresociety.org
