KUSA – Cricket the kitten is looking for a forever home in this week's Petline 9.

Cricket stopped by the 9NEWS studios Wednesday morning.

She's a 3-month-old tortoiseshell kitten who was found by a good Samaritan. That person wanted to give her a second chance at life, so they brought her to the Dumb Friends League.

Cricket is friendly, social and affectionate who loves to snuggle and keep her owners company.

She is spayed and microchipped and already has all of her vaccinations.

If you want to give Cricket a forever home, she's currently staying at the Dumb Friends League off of Quebec Street in Denver. Her ID number is A0680444.

This weekend, Aug. 1 through 3, the Dumb Friends League is hosting a special adoption party in honor of Colorado's birthday. You can adopt a dog for $52.80, and the shelter is waiving all fees for adult cats.

You can contact the Dumb Friends League at 303-751-5772 or visit them at www.ddfl.org.
