On July 17, Metech International is partnering with the city of Aurora to recycle unwanted electronics.

The goal is to keep lead, cadmium, mercury and other hazardous waste out of landfills.

The drop-off site will be in the southwest parking lot of the Aurora Municipal Center.

The address is 15151 East Alameda Parkway. That's near Alameda Ave. and S. Chambers Rd.

There will be a fee $15 for each television, $8 for computer monitors, and $2 each for all other items.

The e-cycling event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
