Trooper Joshua Yoder and the suspect, 21-year-old Igor Skorev, of Henderson, suffered minor injuries and were treated at a hospital and released. Skorev was then booked into the Garfield County jail and could face charges of reckless driving and eluding, among others.

The state patrol says the chase began at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday when the trooper clocked a car traveling 110 mph. After about an eight-minute pursuit, Yoder tried to bump Skorev's vehicle and spin it around.

The Denver Post reports it is unclear if the trooper was injured during the maneuver.
