County Human Resources Director Brian Ostler said the county would not comment on the ongoing investigation until prosecutors decide whether to file charges against the employees. Ostler said he could not commit to inform the public if the investigation results in firings or discipline, citing privacy applied to personnel decisions.

The law enforcement agency believed to be involved in the case did not immediately return a call late Tuesday seeking comment, nor did prosecutors.
