Byrne stopped by 9NEWS to explain some of the key factors for holiday shopping this season, in addition to some of the marquee toys on the market.

"Ferby is back from 1998 - 44 million of those sold. He now has an app that he interacts with," Byrne said.

"The other big one is the 'Nerf Hailfire.' It can shoot up to 144 darts," Byrne said.
