Sixty people looked for Dylan Redwine around Vallecito Reservoir and Forest Lakes on Thursday. They also passed out fliers and knocked on doors seeking clues about his whereabouts.
Dylan normally stays with his mother and brother in Colorado Springs. He was staying at his father's house since Sunday as part of a court-ordered Thanksgiving holiday visit. Mark Redwine, Dylan's father, reported him missing on Monday.
Dylan was last seen at 7:30 a.m. on Monday in his father's house. Dylan was gone when his dad got back to the house around 11:30 a.m. A resident said they saw Dylan walking along County Road 501 in Vallecito Monday afternoon with another boy around his age. The resident did not know the boy was missing until Tuesday.
Deputies are interviewing family members in connection with his disappearance.
"The Sheriff's Office is not ruling out the possibility of an abduction but are also exploring the possibility that Dylan may be a runaway," the La Plata County Sheriff's Office said. "Some family members indicated Dylan may not have been in favor of the court-ordered visit this week. Dylan lived and attended school for years in the area and is known by many people."
Dylan is described as 5 feet tall, 105 pounds, blond hair and blue eyed. Police do not know what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance. He may have a black backpack with him.
