According to police, a man entered Target and fired one round from a handgun at the ceiling while near the pharmacy.
"As soon as we heard the shots, everyone was just running toward one direction. People were screaming and yelling. It was a really chaotic situation," Andra Collins said.
Police say the gunman is white, 6 feet 2 inches, 180 pounds, in his 20s and was wearing a black ski mask, had spiked hair and a goatee. He was last seen running northbound.
"It was scary, you know. You don't expect this to happen while you're holiday shopping on Black Friday at Target of all places," Lark Nelson said.
Store employees were taken to a nearby restaurant where they were questioned by police. Target officials say there store will re-open on Saturday morning.
Police are investigating this incident as an attempted robbery. It is unclear at this time whether anything was taken from the Target.
