Bowling Green, OH (Sports Network) - A'uston Calhoun scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds as the Bowling Green Falcons registered a 54-41 win over the Wright State Raiders in non-conference action at the Stroh Center.

Calhoun made just 3-of-11 shots from the floor for the Falcons (4-4) but did knock down all 12 of his attempts at the charity stripe as the team won for the third time in the last four outings. Also scoring in double figures for the hosts was Jordon Crawford with 11 points.

The Raiders (5-3) were paced by Reggie Arceneaux who tallied 13 points, converting all three of his shots beyond the arc, but still the team bowed for the second time in three contests.

Wright State managed to get off only 17 field goal attempts in the first half, compared to 30 for the hosts, and yet the score was still tied at the break, 22-22. The Falcons connected on just 1-of-10 tries on the perimeter in the period.

Early in the second half, a couple of 3-pointers by Arceneaux and Cole Darling gave the Raiders a 32-28 advantage, but shortly thereafter Bowling Green put together a 13-0 run in order to assume control and eventually capture the double-digit win.

The Falcons shot only 32.7 percent from the floor in the meeting, including 3- of-16 behind the three-point line, but made up for that shortcoming by knocking down all but two of 21 free throws on the night.

The point total for the Raiders, guilty of 17 turnovers in the meeting and just 5-of-6 shooting at the charity stripe, is their lowest since the team logged a program-low 34 in a 21-point loss to Air Force on the road, Dec. 7, 2011.
