TheDenver Cutthroats Celebrity Charity Game takes place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th, prior to the Cutthroats home contest against Fort Worth.

The recent Hall of Fame inductee will play on an "All Stars"team against Community Herosto raise money to help fight cancer. $5 from every ticket sold will be given to charity, in addition to monies raised through on-site fundraising activities.

Sakic has brought together former Colorado hockey players from the Avalanche and the Denver Grizzlies to play against a team of police and firemen from across the state. The cost of the ticket includes entry to both the charitable game and the Cutthroats game that follows at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.

Included throughout the evening will be autograph sessions, a "shirts off our backs" jersey auction and other meet and greet and fundraising activities.

The All-Stars Team includes: Joe Sakic, Derek Armstrong (head coach of the Denver Cutthroats), Eric Lacroix, Kirk McLean, Stephane Yelle, Scott Parker, John Grahame, Jeff Sirkka, and Mike Haynes.
