Tina Wilson, in Bronco orange with the Weather Channel playing on TV, is both wearing and watching two big reasons as to why a normally busy Saturday is a little slow.

"Usually we are pretty busy from 8 to 9 in the morning. But, it has been slow this morning," Wilson said.

Subzero temperatuares starting at around 11 below zero in the morning and a big Bronco's playoff game in the afternoon collided sacking business in ski towns where parking lots are all but empty.

"We have a couple of things working against us. Of course everyone is thinking about the Broncos, which we are all excited for. And temperatures - it's a little chilly up here today," Loveland Ski Area Marketing Director John Sellers said.

At the Loveland Ski Area a 75th birthday celebration brought some skiers to the slopes. But, it's clear by the sight of empty seats on the chair lifts that crowds aren't what they should be for a Saturday.

"More than a weekday crowd, but not typically what we would see on a Saturday," Sellers said.

By Sunday business should return to normal at Loveland and at Chameez.
