KUSA - When loud music and bright lights don't work, there is one other thing that could get kids out of bed and off to school: the superintendent showing up at their door.
Tuesday morning, Aurora School Superintendent John Barry and a team of district workers visited students who have had problems with truancy.
Members of the district's truancy reduction team do this type of thing every day.
One student who returned is 18-year-old Lisa Woolman. After missing more than 100 days, she is now on track to graduate high school.
