Sources say an OnStar alert went out on a stolen vehicle out of New Mexico, which led police to the car around mile marker 151 on northbound Interstate 25. The driver was travelling in excess of 100 mph.

Monument Police allegedly put down stop sticks near mile marker 164, but the driver reportedly avoided them.

Around 10:30 a.m., sources say the suspect attempted to run into a Colorado State Patrol car and swerved into the southbound lanes, but was still driving northbound.

Around mile marker 179, the suspect reportedly took off on foot. Police were able to detain the driver at 10:43 a.m.

No one was injured during this high-speed chase.
