KUSA - Doctors are seeing signs of an early allergy season this year.

Spring-like weather is causing trees and flowers to bloom ahead of schedule. It's also creating a headache for those who suffer from seasonal allergies.

Doctors say it's important to recognize the allergies and treat them early.

"Humidifiers work great, nasal saline works great, anything you can do to get the pollen tamped down in the house," 9NEWS Medical Expert Dr. John Torres said. "And to make sure the pollen doesn't get up into your nose, that combination of things could really help. Make sure the allergies don't come on too strong."
