KUSA - Moderate to heavy snow fell Tuesday in the mountains west of Vail Pass. Snow along the Front Range has moved east and will continue to push out of the state by mid morning Wednesday.

One to 3 inches fell around the Denver area, with up to 6 inches near Castle Rock and over the Palmer Divide. The storm also proved to be much bigger for foothill locations, where 6 to 10 inches was recorded.

Wind and snow along the eastern plains will continue to dimish through Wednesday morning and partly cloudy skies will take over for the remainder of the day. Look for highs in the low 30s across the Front Range Wednesday afternoon.

Agradual warm up will continue Thursday through the weekend. If the current forecast holds, temperatures may reach nearly 60 degrees by the Sunday.
