SUMMIT COUNTY - The Summit County Sheriff's Office arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly stealing an occupied bus late Thursday night.

Just before midnight, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle theft in progress after an unattended Summit Stage bus had been taken from River Run in Keystone.

Passengers on the bus called 911 to report that the bus was being driven erratically up Montezuma Road.

Deputies found the bus stuck off the road. They also found the suspect, described as a man dressed in dark clothing and a black balaclava, walking on Montezuma Road approximately a half mile from the scene of the accident.

Passengers were able to identify Joshua Taylor Mock as the man who took the bus.

Mock was arrested and faces charges including four counts of second-degree kidnapping, aggravated motor vehicle theft, hindering public transportation, reckless engenderment and bond violation.

Mock remains in Summit County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
