AURORA - Police say a fight between two groups of people escalated into a shootingWednesdayevening.

The fight started at an Aurora McDonald's just before 5 p.m.

About an hour later, the group moved to a parking lot in the 2200 block of South Buckley Road where two shooters emerged from a car and opened fire.

The car then sped off leaving two victims at the scene. The victims were later transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The gang unit is investigating the shooting because detectives believe it could be gang related.

Police don't have a description of the suspect, but the getaway car is described as a black SUV. Anyone with information about the shooting should contact the Aurora Police Department.
