DENVER - Denver Fire and Denver Police are investigating the scene of a crash where a car drove into a home in the 5100 block of Gill Place in Denver.

The wreck happened around 6 a.m. Luckily, the wife, husband and pets who were in the home at the time of the crash were not injured.

The driver was transported to Denver Health with unknown injuries.

The cause of the wreck is unknown at this time, but the driver claims he was swerving to avoid someone.

The Denver Fire Department's collapse team had to wait to stabilize the home. After they did that, they were able to tow the car out of the house around 7:30 a.m.

The fire department declared the home "uninhabitable," so arrangements had to be made toaccommodatethe family.

This is the second time a car has crashed into this couple's home.
