WHEAT RIDGE - Wheat Ridge police have arrested a woman in connection to a motel stabbing that left a man severely wounded.

Thornton resident Kyra Munford, 25, was arrested in Pueblo after a tip to police.

Munford is accused of stabbing a man at a Motel 6 at 9920 West 49th Avenue in Wheat Ridge Monday night.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in the hospital as of Thursday.

Munford is being held at the Jefferson County Detention Center on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder. Her bond was set at $250,000.
