KUSA - Two additional people are facing charges in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed an 85-year-old man last week.

Kelly Carey-Morehead, 43, and Kiki Douglas, 30, are facing charges of being an accessory to crime and false reporting to authorities.

The charges allege the pair lied to police and assisted hit-and-run suspect Latoya Nelson following the deadly crash at 13th Avenue and Kalamath Street which killed Charlie Herrera

Nelson was charged earlier with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, criminal impersonation and third-degree assault

Douglas and Carey-Morehead will appear in court April 16. Nelson will appear in court April 22.
