DENVER - Middle-school students from the Highlands Ranch STEM School Academy worked with LEAD engineering teacher MIke Shallenberger and Lockheed Martin engineer Joel Kirkland to design a wind tunnel that will test the aerodynamic efficiency student-designed CO2 cars and rockets.

The students displayed their wind tunnel along with a film of an underwater, remotely-operated vehicle and their work on a 3D printer to fabricate and design prototypes at the State Capitol rotunda for government officials.
