KUSA - Families and girls, ages 5 to 17, are welcome to attend the first Girl's Golf Fair on Saturday at CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora.

The day includes family golf instruction, education on rules and etiquette, fitness activities, pictures with the Solheim Cup and more.

PGA Pro Erin Diegel dropped by the 9NEWS studios to talk about the event and give Susie Wargin some much needed chipping instructions. Erin is also the Junior Golf Director for the Colorado PGA Section and head of Girl Power Golf, a non-profit girls-only golf program designed to bring girls together in a fun, social, non-intimidating environment to teach them the game of golf and the life-skills associated with it.

It is hosted at Indian Tree Golf Course in Aurora and will serve about 50 girls this summer. www.girlpowergolf.org.
