LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - The murder of a 10-year-old girl is prompting development of a new computer application to track children and issue a warning when they are off track.
Jessica Ridgeway disappeared last fall somewhere along her route from home to school.
Austin Sigg has pleaded not guilty in the killing last October.
Technology entrepreneur John Guydon tells the Longmont Times-Call the application for computers and smartphones will bark if something goes wrong.
He hopes to have it on the market this summer.
