KUSA - The citizens of Denver may have seen their own unidentified flying object on International UFO Day Tuesday.

Several calls came into 9NEWS late Tuesday morning about a white object that seemed to be hovering over the Denver skies.

Naturally, 9NEWS sent Meteorologist Becky Ditchfield and pilot Amelia Earhart out to investigate.

They speculated while clouds above the object screamed past it making it seem like it was floating in the same place in the sky.

A closer view revealed what looks like four balloons connected together.

The 9NEWS weather team says winds - where the balloons were floating - were around 20 mph, while the clouds above were moving at around 70 mph. The effect made the balloons look nearly stationary.
