KUSA - Parker police say they have received several reports the last few days of a young buck seen with an arrow protruding from its back.

The deer has been seen in the Robinson Ranch Subdivision located near Hess and Parker roads several times since June 29.

Police say people should not approach or attempt to capture the deer. This incident has been reported to the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife.

Police are actively looking for leads and crime tips. It is possible the person responsible may be cited for animal cruelty and the Division of Wildlife may have additional charges.
