KUSA - Under new NFL bag restrictions, anything you carry in to an NFL game must be clear and no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". That rule went into effect Saturday afternoon.

Fans can also use clear plastic gallon-size Ziploc bags. Ladies can take in a small purse or clutch, but it can't be larger than 6.5" by 4.5". Fans cannot take in backpacks diaper bags camera cases or coolers.

There is a special area at each gate for those with medical needs. Those individuals will be able to take bags into the stadium one it has been checked.

The NFL says the policy change is to make lines at the gate move faster and to ensure fan safety. These rules are nationwide and will remain in effect.

The Broncos sent one of their logoed bags to every season ticket holder. The bags are available at the team store.
