CENTENNIAL - The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who dropped a 13-year-old boy off at an office building after they say he injured the boy in a hit-and-run crash.

Anthony Haring was riding his bike Tuesday afternoon in the King Soopers parking lot at 5050 E. Arapahoe Rd. in Centennial when he was hit by a black 1970s model Chevy step-side pickup truck.

The impact left Anthony with a badly broken leg. The driver of the truck stopped, loaded Anthony and his bike into the truck and drove to a medical office across the street.

"He was like, 'oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I didn't even see you,'" Anthony said. "When he pulled up, he was like 'you can get out.' I was like, 'no, you need to get me a wheelchair.' So, he got me a wheelchair and rolled me in the front lobby and then he left."

The driver took off with the boy's bike still in the back of the truck.

The driver is described as a Hispanic man in his mid 30s. He has short, dark spiky hair and is approximately 5-feet 5-inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing brown shorts and a blue jacket.
