KUSA - A big concern for police across Colorado Sunday night was security.

Thousands of dispirited Denver Bronco fans headed home even before the clock wound down on their team's crushing defeat by the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

Denver police were prepared for trouble - deploying heavily in downtown Denver - but the city's streets were quiet and cold after the 43-8 defeat.

City police did tweet "CONGRATS" to their counterparts in Seattle.
