LOVELAND - The Loveland Chamber of Commerce and the Loveland Post Office kicked off the first day of valentine card stamping and the 68th Annual Loveland Valentine Re-Mailing Program on Tuesday.
Starting Tuesday morning at the Loveland Chamber of Commerce Conference Room, the first cards to be stamped through the program, including those sent to fellow Colorado communities affected by the September 2013 flooding.
The cachet message offers encouragement and love this Valentine's Day to communities like Loveland that are recovering from the floods.
This event kicks off the 68th Valentine Re-Mailing Program in the Sweetheart City where more than 160,000 valentine cards are re-mailed from Loveland with the special cachet stamp. These cards come from around the world to receive the stamp and special cancellation, Loveland postmark.
