KUSA - A search on the ground tonight will turn into an aerial search in the morning for a man missing in eastern Colorado.

A 66-year-old man from Kansas called 911 in Cheyenne County around 8 p.m. Sunday night.

He said he'd turned off on a dirt road, gotten lost and was stuck in a field.

He was driving a black Chevy Tahoe. His phone doesn't have GPS and the battery is dead.

Deputies are asking people in Kiowa, Cheyenne, Lincoln and Kit Carson counties to keep an eye out for the man and his truck. The Civil Air Patrol will be out at first light.
