DC-For singles everywhere dreading Valentine's Day, there's now a solution thanks to one DC-based company.

Bloompop created MyFakeValentine.com as a way for singles to order a floral arrangement and personalized note from a fake valentine.

"The goal of it was to be light-hearted on Valentine's Day," Bloompop founder Shavanna Miller said.

Launched last September, Bloompop is an online site that helps direct customers to local florists in the DC-area.

Now Bloompop is directing singles to send themselves Valentine's "selfies."

"I have a lot of single friends who dread Valentine's Day," said Miller.

You can even choose the persona of the fake valentine: The Romantic, The Secret Admirer or The Creep.

The Bloompop owner says there is no shame in not wanting to feel left out.
