DENVER - A pair of suspected bike thieves that were targeting downtown garages is down one.

The Denver District Attorney's Office says that one of the suspects has been arrested.

Drake Durbin, 19, was charged Wednesday with 16 counts of second-degree burglary. His alleged partner in crime is on the run.

The thefts occurred between Dec. 1, 2013, and Jan. 31, 2014.

Durbin and his alleged accomplice are suspected of stealing high-end bicycles from several downtown parking garages.

In many cases, bicycle locks were cut and the suspects were seen in security video riding the bicycles out of the building.

Durbin remains in the Denver Detention Center; his bond is set at $3,500.
