KUSA - With a new recruiting class in his back pocket for 2014, Colorado State head football coach Jim McElwain and athletic director Jack Graham will address a group of about 150 alumni and donors Wednesday night at Cherry Hills Country Club in Denver.

The eighth annual Rams Roundup will offer guests a sneak peak at the new recruits from McElwain's perspective and many attendees are hoping Graham will update the group on the progress of a new stadium in Fort Collins.

Before the event, Graham said CSU's fund-raising efforts for the stadium are "going great."

The Rams are looking to raise $100 million to start the building of a $226.5 million on-campus stadium. They are about a year into the process.

"My confidence in our ability to get the job done is 100 percent. We're going to get the job done," Graham said. "It just takes time. It takes a lot of work to raise $100 million. We're in the marketplace talking to people and they're stepping up and helping in big ways. ... We're moving full steam ahead."

Last week, Colorado State signed 22 high school and four junior college players to complete their 2014 class. Nine of the new players hail from Colorado and 15 were captains for their high school teams.
