KUSA - Denver will host Manchester United as a part of their preseason tour over the summer.
The historic football club will play AS Roma in the Mile High City - at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on July 26. It's a part of the International Champions Cup that will bring several other clubs to the states for friendly matches as well.
"This will be the team's first visit to Denver and we are excited to meet our fans in this city for the first time," said Richard Arnold, Manchester United's group managing director. "Manchester United has over eight million followers across the United States and Tour 2014, presented by Aon, will be a great opportunity to travel the country and bring the fans closer to the Club they love."
The Premier League Champions from this past season - and winner of 20 titles from one the most competitive leagues in the world - are making their first visit back to the United States since 2011.
Along with Man-U, Real Madrid, Manchester City, AC Milan and AS Roma will also be taking part in the tour that will span two weeks and a dozen different cities.
