KUSA - Tuesday we'll cut Monday's temperature in half and add snow to the forecast.

A strong arctic cold front will push into northeast Colorado Tuesday morning bringing very cold temperatures.

Daytime highs will be in the low 30s. Along with the cold air is the chance for snow. No winter weather travel advisories will be in effect and it's expected to be a quick and weak storm.

Snow accumulations will be a half an inch or less for the metro area from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. In the mountains and foothills accumulations will range from 3 to 6 inches and 1 to 3 inches for the plains.

Temperatures for Wednesday will warm right back up to the 50s with dry and sunny skies. The next chance for snow will be Thursday night and Friday morning.
