DENVER - The driver killed in a collision with an RTD bus early Tuesday morning has been identified.



Police say 61-year-old Joseph Tracy of Denver was killed in the crash at the corner of West Mississippi Avenue and South Platte River Drive around 2 a.m. Tuesday.



The intersection was closed for more than three hours as police investigated the cause of the crash and removed the vehicles.



From the initial investigation, police were able to conclude a Tracy's car was traveling westbound on West Mississippi Avenue and the RTD bus was traveling south on South Platte River Drive when they collided.



Police are still investigating which driver was at fault.



RTD confirmed that the bus involved is the one on route 31.
