BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Colorado football player Jeffrey Hall has been arrested on charges of choking a woman and fighting with police.
The Boulder Daily Camera reports the 19-year-old was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of second-degree assault on an officer, obstruction of an officer, resisting arrest, second-degree assault and alcohol possession by a minor.
Hall didn't immediately respond to a message left with the CU athletics department. No working phone number could be found for him.
CU says Hall was suspended indefinitely.
Police say a woman told officers Hall choked her at a party. Police say while she was speaking with the officers, Hall lunged at her, ignoring the officers' commands to get on the ground. Police say Hall swung at the officers, who shot him with a Taser before subduing him.
