DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Logistics may be one of the biggest factors in how well an area grows, as all 10 of Colorado's cities on the rise listed in a new NerdWallet report are near the Interstate 25 corridor.
The personal finance website ranked 31 Colorado cities with a population of 20,000 or more for its study.
To compile the data, the San-Francisco based company looked at:
Population growth from 2009 to 2012.Employment growth relative to statewide growth from 2009 to 2012.Income growth based on the median income for workers from 2009 to 2012.
Eight out of the top 10 cities had a rise in median income of more than 10 percent from 2009 to 2012. Cities near Colorado Springs saw the biggest bumps, with greater rises in income and population than those nearby Denver, according to NerdWallet.
