P.F. Chang's has a possible data breach and a Colorado restaurant is affected.
DENVER - P.F. Chang's has identified a possible data breach and a Colorado restaurant is affected.
The Secret Service says debit and credit card data was stolen from possibly 33 locations, including the restaurant in Lakewood in Belmar.
On the restaurant's website, it says the possible breach happened between April 10 and June 11, 2014. If you used a debit or credit card at the restaurant during that time period, you should watch for fraudulent activity on your statement.
P. F. Chang's CEO Rick Federico says the security compromise was contained on June 11, 2014 and has been processing credit and debit card data securely since then.
According to Federico, the company is committed to providing free identity protection services for all guests who may potentially be affected.
He said Pei Wei restaurants were not affected by the possible breach.
