KUSA – It can be tough for first-time home buyers to land the house of their dreams, but there are a few Colorado cities that Wallethub.com says are actually pretty good for that kind of thing.

Centennial came in at No. 8, followed by Thornton at No. 9.

The study looked at the affordability of homes as well as the conditions of the real estate market in 300 of the largest cities in the country.

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was the top-ranked city, followed by Allen Texas, Norman, Oklahoma, and Frisco, Plano and McKinney, Texas.

Colorado Springs came in a No. 13, Longmont was No. 15 and beautiful Fort Collins and Arvada came in at 18 and 19, respectively.
