WALSENBURG, Colo. (AP) - Higher humidity and clouds are helping firefighters contain a 15-acre wildfire in southern Colorado.
The Four Mile Canyon Fire in Huerfano County was 50 percent contained Monday.
Spokeswoman Lori Cordova says winds died down overnight and some light rain fell at the fire in the morning.
One home in the Blackhawk subdivision is threatened by the fire, which is burning about 10 miles west of Interstate 25.
Three families have evacuated. Other houses near the fire are summer homes and aren't occupied.
A hot shot crew and five engines are working to build lines around both the subdivision and the fire itself.
