GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - A Grand Junction man is accused of chasing another man across a neighborhood and yelling at him to "die" as he repeatedly stabbed him with two knives.

The Daily Sentinel reports that neighbors saw 24-year-old Lee George McDonald chase 27-year-old Nicholas Potts across the neighborhood early Sunday. When police arrived, Potts was dead and McDonald was sitting on a bench, covered in Potts' blood. A large butcher knife and a serrated steak knife were on the ground close to Potts' body.

McDonald is charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Police say McDonald told them he stabbed Potts after finding Potts in a car with McDonald's girlfriend, saying, "I just wanted him to die." Neighbors witnessed McDonald repeatedly stabbing Potts.
